Sanitizers
Sanitizers used in the food processing industry include oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, ozone and per acetic acid. Denaturing agents like alcohol based products, non-oxidizing, surface tension diminishing agents, and enzyme-based products are also used. Sanitizers are used to kill and reduce the growth of microorganisms. Sanitizers are available for multiple applications: CIP, pipeline, COP, foaming, or manual wet spray and atomizing.
